So charming and decorative is this vintage Art Deco cocktail evening bag or wristlet purse, of lush blue velvet with floral and rhinestone trim, circa 1930s. 

The swingy purse consists of a deep cerulean blue colored velvet embroidered with flowers of copper colored wire and brass beadwork on both sides of the bag – each flower prong set with a clear faceted rhinestone at its center.

It also has a gold toned metal frame embedded with rhinestones along with a kissing clasp, and single chain link handle.

The bag is lined in a pale green silk fabric which shows a bit of shredding due to age, along with two interior pockets and original cosmetic mirror.

The purse measures approximately 6 inches wide by 4&1/8 inches high.
